Arcadia Ewell
Director
Arcadia is a college professor, researcher, and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering the next generation of young women. She holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Boston University, where her work focused on how early stress and adversity shape children’s cognitive development.
Before her academic career, Arcadia spent eight years competing within the Miss America Organization and Miss America's Teen programs. As a former Top 10 semifinalist at the state level, she earned nearly $13,000 in scholarships—an experience that played a pivotal role in funding her education and shaping her passion for creating similar opportunities for others.
Following her time in competition, she founded Flawless Pageant Prep, where she coached dozens of young women to success at the state, national, and international levels. She later chose to close her coaching business in order to fully dedicate her time and energy to building the Miss Westminster Scholarship Organization.
In addition to her academic and professional work, Arcadia is a bestselling romantasy author, often found behind her desk with a warm cup of coffee as she builds immersive fantasy worlds and complex heroines.
Originally from Manchester, Maryland, Arcadia now calls Westminster home. Through the Miss Westminster Scholarship Organization, she is passionate about giving back to her community by creating a program that equips young women with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to thrive.
