The Miss Westminster Scholarship Organization is a local preliminary to the Miss Maryland and Miss America Opportunities. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to empowering young women across Carroll County by providing scholarship funding, personal development resources, and leadership opportunities year-round.

Each year, the young women selected to represent our organization receive access to valuable resources, including educational scholarships, professional photoshoots, mock interviews, public speaking coaching, and community appearance opportunities. Through these experiences, we aim to equip them with the confidence, skills, and connections necessary to pursue their goals and thrive in their future careers.
Titleholder Job Description
Miss Westminster and Miss Westminster's Teen serve as a representatives of both the local community and the Miss America Organization. They are expected to uphold the values of service, leadership, professionalism, and integrity throughout their year of service.
Core Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Service

Actively participate in community service initiatives and local events throughout Westminster and Carroll County

Serve as a positive role model and ambassador at appearances, volunteer events, and community programs
2. Representation & Public Appearances

Represent the Miss Westminster Scholarship Organization at local events, parades, school visits, and partner organizations

Maintain a professional and polished presence in all public settings

Be prepared to speak confidently in both formal and informal settings
3. Advocacy & Social Impact

Champion a cause or initiative that aligns with the values of the organization
4. Professionalism & Personal Development

Participate in provided opportunities such as mock interviews, photoshoots, and coaching sessions in preparation for the Miss Maryland and Miss Maryland's Teen Opportunities

Time Commitment
The titleholder is expected to attend scheduled appearances, rehearsals, and organizational events throughout her year. While flexibility is understood, consistent engagement is essential to fulfilling the role successfully.
